As part of its representation of businesses, Albright, Rusher & Hardcastle has assisted clients with labor and employment matters. The representation has included handling hiring and termination issues, drafting and enforcing employment agreements, including non-competition and confidentiality agreements. They have also represented clients in defending against wage disputes, unemployment contests and discrimination claims.

Representative Experience

Represented owner of local Jiffy Lube franchises against claims by employees that they were not paid for all hours worked. Case was tried to the court and a judgment was entered in favor of the franchisee.
Represented local manufacturing business against claim of age discrimination. Case resolved through mediation.
Represented regional construction business against claims of discrimination based on sexuality and disability. Case resolved through mediation.
